DDS FRAME 8
A major breakthrough in the high-speed motor industry, the Frame 8 offers capital and life-cycle costs that are considerably lower than conventional synchronous machines, while providing higher efficiency, higher reliability, smaller size, lower weight, and significantly less maintenance.

The Frame 8 is a formed wound PM machine and delivers up to 8MW (10,752 HP) of power at 15,000rpm with operational voltages between 4,160 to 6,600V.  The Frame 8 also offers operational speed and power flexibility, while maintaining extremely high efficiencies of around 98 percent, making it suitable for the majority of compression and power generation applications globally.

DDS is offering the Frame 8 with oil lubricated tilt pad bearings or active radial magnetic bearings.
