High Speed High Performance Ships and Craft Symposium
Location: Everett, Washington
Dates: July 19, 2005 – July 20, 2005 (Tuesday - Wednesday)
Description: The American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) show focuses on “The Shape of Things to Come” at the upcoming conference. The evolution of High Speed technology represents a cornerstone in the transformation of the Navy’s fleet into a littoral capable Navy comprised of faster, more stable, shallow draft ships. As the Navy evolves to meet the requirements of the 21st century sailor, a number of bold and innovative technologies are being introduced. One of these technologies being introduced at the show will be in a paper written by Albert Nelson of DDS. The paper will be presented on July 20th in Track 2 and is titled “Critical Enabling Technologies for Long Endurance Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs).
