DDS Strategic Partners - Target, Asia

There is a significant market for DDS products in greater Asia, particularly in Japan, Korea, China, Russia and the countries of Southeast Asia. As part of ITOCHU’s investment into DDS, ITOCHU Sanki Corp., a subsidiary company of ITOCHU Corporation, has been appointed as DDS’ exclusive distributor for the Japanese market.  ITOCHU Sanki has significant reach and business across all major industrial sectors in Japan, and long-standing relationships with major Japanese turbo machinery OEMs that are prime target customers for DDS’ products.

DDS is proud to have Sanki as its exclusive partner for Japan, and looks forward to a long standing beneficial relationship.

For the near term, DDS in-house sales and marketing efforts in the other Asian markets (with the exception of Japan) will be conducted directly from its offices in California. We will focus our efforts on developing partnering relationships with our trading companies, rather than developing an Asian in-house sales and marketing staff.

Specifically, DDS intends to partner with a conglomerate that has an active role in the Asian oil and gas sector.  There are a number of advantages to such a strategy, including:

• Faster identification of markets, customers and applications
• Focused product identification to meet specific Asian market needs
• Logistics and service infrastructure in place

DDS is currently working on its distribution strategy and partnerships globally.
