Kevin McGlensey, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Kevin McGlensey joined Direct Drive Systems in the fall of 2008 as the President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. McGlensey is also a member of the board of directors. He has extensive experience in domestic and international business development in the high-tech and energy industries. Prior to coming on board, Mr. McGlensey was the President at ORYXE Energy International, a California-based organic fuel additives company. In his role as President, he helped build and grow the venture-backed, start-up company to $16 million in revenue by targeting key industry customers and implementing strategic goals. Additionally, he helped raise more than $32 million in financing from venture firms and private investors. Prior to joining ORYXE Energy, McGlensey was President of Invensys Process Automation Products, a division of the United Kingdom’s largest diversified engineering company, with revenues exceeding $13 billion. During his first year, McGlensey’s leadership resulted in increasing profits by 14 percentage points. He was also President of Triconex Corporation, a venture-backed, start-up company with a successful IPO that was purchased by Invensys. Triconex is the leading supplier of fault tolerant safety systems for the oil and gas industry. Mr. Kevin McGlensey holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University located in Philadelphia, PA and is a member of the board of directors for Crittenton Services for Children and Families in Orange County, California.
Dennis Strouse, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Dennis Strouse has over 25 years of experience in the engineering, program management, and manufacturing of highly reliable rotating machinery for power generation. Prior to joining DDS, he held various upper management positions with large technology-based companies, such as AlliedSignal and Honeywell. Most recently, Mr. Strouse worked at Honeywell in the Aircraft Electric Power Generation business, where he successfully transferred Honeywell’s aerospace power generation manufacturing and engineering operation in New Jersey to Arizona and Mexico. Additionally, he received his Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Honeywell. Prior to the Honeywell merger, Mr. Strouse was Site General Manager of AlliedSignal Aerospace Power Generation, responsible for design-development, production, service, repair, and customer support. Mr. Strouse is an expert in advanced manufacturing and engineering techniques, and has received a variety of production awards. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University.
Michael Dyar, Chief Financial Officer
Dr. Michael Dyar has over 20 years of experience developing, leading, and implementing strategic, financial, and operational business initiatives in both green-field startups and large multinational manufacturing organizations. He has held executive and management positions at Dover Corp, Avery Dennison, and most recently, Consolidated Precision Products. Dr. Dyar has expertise in accounting, risk, and treasury for multi-location global manufacturing entities; rationalization of manufacturing and administration, both off-shore and outsourcing (China, India, and Mexico); M&A deal identification, due diligence, closing, and post merger integration (18 M&A transactions – foreign and domestic); IT systems (Security, Operations, and Back-up) and IT / ERP integration; and building and sustaining high performance work teams. Dr. Dyar is a CPA in the state of California. He holds an MBA from Clemson University and a Doctorate in organizational leadership from the University of La Verne. Dr. Dyar wrote his dissertation on the Sarbanes Oxley section 404 processes effect on U.S. multinational organizations.
