Direct Drive Systems, Inc. (DDS) is an affiliate of Calnetix, a world leader in the development and manufacture of high-performance electric motors and generators. DDS has been established to produce and service a line of high speed, high-power motors, generators and power electronics that are significantly more efficient and lower in cost than conventional machines currently on the market.
DDS has developed and successfully tested its premier product, the Frame 2 (2 MW), which can operate at 23,000 RPM. DDS has secured long-term purchase agreements for this product with large global OEMs in the energy and natural gas sectors.
